Kazakh-Kyrgyz trade turnover may reach USD 1 bln: Kazakh Ambassador

ALMATY. June 19. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ “Relations between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are developing positively, in the spirit of strategic equal partnership”, Kazakh Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Ospanov has said today at the session of the Interparliamentarian Commission on cooperation between the Parliaments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

He noted that high level negotiations between two countries were activated; the Intestate Council, Intergovernmental Council and the Foreign Ministers council were established. The Ambassador said that the trade turnover between our republics will reach USD 1 bln in the nearest future. “Over 400 joint ventures with the Kazakh capital are working in Kyrgyzstan now. The banking system of Kyrgyzstan is represented by five affiliates of banks of our country. 60% of credits were allocated by the Kazakh banks last year”, B.Ospanov said.

According to the Kazakh Diplomat, the cultural-humanitarian cooperation between two countries is the most dynamic in the relation of two countries.
